Inner City Women’s Group is a not-for- profit domestic violence prevention agency, established in 1988 and based in Auckland.
Programmes are available for men, women and youth.
We provide individual and group based services and programmes to people impacted by family violence and we undertake local awareness raising and education activities about the impacts of violence on individuals, whanau and our communities.
Man Alive's point of difference from other non-violence programmes is that they are run by men, for men. Our Maori programme, Te Ara Taumata Ora, uses the same themes as Living Without Violence but they are delivered in culturally appropriate ways.

Provider of Dept of Corrections and MOJ mandated individual and group non violence programmes for males, and individual programmes for females.
Stopping Violence Southland offers individual and group programmes to Men and Women and an individual programme to Youth at 70 Victoria Avenue, Invercargill.
Our overarching goal is to reduce family violence thereby making families and communities safer. We do this by working with individuals and families and by working with both victims and perpetrators to produce outcomes/benefits in our community
Tauranga Living Without Violence offers services and programmes for men and women dealing with family violence.
Whakatū Marae provides Whānau Ora services, including smoking cessation advise, Whānau Ora Navigation, Counselling, comprehensive social work.

FSS help families & individuals feel safe through developing new skills, increase their confidence to speak out & motivate them to ‘Be the Change’.
HAIP works to support, advocate and empower families affected by domestic violence. It provides safety services and non-violence programmes for men and women.

The first thing your male counsellor will do is help you clearly identify the issues. Man Alive counsellors are trained and experienced in dealing with men’s issues, so they’ll understand yours. Next, they’ll help you develop a broader range of options to deal with the issues. As your choices increase, you’ll feel better about yourself and your life. The challenge is for you to ask for support.
Men often find themselves in situations where they are expected to deal with big change in their lives and with little support. This group is an open, easy-going group of ordinary guys who have had crisis and change in the past helping men who are going through hard times now.
Men in Relationships is a 12 week course that could change your family and work life. It is a course designed to help you deal with stress and conflict. It will help you come closer to your family.
The goal of family counselling is to achieve personal, and family well-being and to recognize and strengthen the existing supports and resources you have as individuals and as a family. Couple counselling can help you restore connection, belonging and intimacy relationships.
An eight week programme for boys aged 8-12, who may have a lack of positive male role models, behavioural difficulties, or issues around anger, relationships, communication or self-esteem. (currently Waitakere City only)
A twelve week anger management and life skills one-to-one counselling programme, for male youth who are finding it difficult to control anger, aggression or violence.
Moana House provides a twelve month residential therapeutic community for adult
male offenders who want to change their lives. Many of our residents may also have
a history of alcohol and/or drug abuse. To be eligible to attend the Moana House
Programme you must be an adult male of 17 years or over, with an crikminal
offending history. It is not necessary to be referred through an agency – referral may
be made by self, or family and friends, through Community Probation, the Courts,
Prison Services, or Community Alcohol and Drug Services. We will also accept men
who are undergoing Opioid Substitution Treatment.
Piritahi Hau Ora is a marae based primary healthcare services for all people on Waiheke Island. In addition to providing general medical and healthcare services, the Hauora provides individual and whanau support and referral to people experiencing family violence.

Four days a week we provide up to six empowering and educational Tamariki programme, each programme is a 10 week closed group for individual, sibling and group children aged 5-8 and 9-12 years. This is an empowering and educational programme to assist children work through the impacts of being a witness or survivor of family violence.

The Men’s non-violence programmes is either a 16 session group or an 11 sessions individual programme. Male victims are offered an individual programme. The Women’s non-violence programme is either group or individual consisting 11 sessions, and The Women’s victim programme is 10 session group or individual. The Youth programme is for Adolescents aged 12 to 17 years. The programme is 10 sessions with an experienced Facilitator.

From this work we help clients to achieve outcomes that include, living free from fear, better relationships with their family or whanau, hope for the future and an understanding of what has gone and where the responsibility lies. We work with other local and national services to achieve these outcomes and also to ensure clients with dual or multiple issues can have all aspects of their well-being addressed.

Our kaimahi work alongside whānau with complex needs, drawing primarily upon Māori models of practice. The use of cultural values, such as whakapapa, tikanga, wairua, tapu, mauri, and mana, have the potential to influence wellbeing in whānau relationships, transform behaviours and provide alternatives to lifestyle. Using these imperatives can guide transformative practices and inform strategies for whānau and whānau wellbeing. They can also be seen as protective factors within whānau, hapū and iwi.
